Peoria boy recovering from rare COVID-19 symptom

PEORIA, Ariz.Because the series of recent COVID-19 situations continues to remain high, an increasing number of kids are experiencing a rare and doubtlessly lifestyles-threatening symptom.

A 9-year-old Peoria boy is one survivor, and his family is thankful for that on Thanksgiving Day.

Caden is taking it easy this Thanksgiving, as he recovers from Multi-Inflammatory Syndrome in Formative years (MIS-C).  MIS-C is a rare symptom that develops weeks after a baby seemingly will get over COVID-19.

Weeks after thinking Caden became as soon as over the virus, he developed a high fever. Then, Caden’s mother, Sarah Veysey, seen a rash.

“It correct seemed bizarre. It became as soon as a station., and I pulled his pajama shirt down, and there possess been spots all over his chest and wait on, and I believed one thing is now not appropriate form,” said Veysey.

“We’re very grateful to be collectively,” said Veysey.
